Be a Spring Samurai This Spring!!

Join Fleet Feet for this FREE Spring Fitness Program to help motivate you get active this Spring!

Simply come to one of our workouts and you will automatically be entered in the program.

This program is for walkers AND runners, exercise beginners and exercise fiends. We don't care, we just want you to be active. One rule - no whining on the weather (it may still snow or rain) or else we can poke jokes at you :)

Program dates: April 1st, 2008 – June 20th, 2008
Program cost: Absolutely nothing!!
Program goal: To continue the fun times started in Winter Warrior, keep training & fitness levels on track for the Spring season, and introduce new people to our groups and events!

The program is completely FREE and includes:

* A Kickoff Party with refreshments and treats, plus in-store discounts on Tuesday, April 1st at 7PM.
* Prizes along the way from water bottles, to PowerBar Product to t-shirts and more. Prizes are based on points earned from workouts attended or events attended
* FREE group workouts
* E-mails on special group extracurricular outings (this is a way to earn extra points)
* Fabulous people to workout and commiserate with
* The program begins April 1st, 2008 through June 22nd
* The program is based on amount of points accrued by participating in workouts and local races. See point system below.
* To join simply attend one of our workouts or the kickoff party and you are automatically in.
* At the end , the one with the most points will be deemed the Spring Samurai!!!

How to Join

How do you accrue points?

1. Participate in any of the Fleet Feet Workouts (Walkers and Runners Welcome). These start at Fleet Feet and you must do the workout versus doing an alternate course to accrue points.

Each Fleet Feet Workout is Valued at 5pts

* Tuesdays at 6PM - Hills Workouts (This is anywhere from 3 - 8 Miles depending on speed and distance)

* Wednesdays at 9AM - Run or Walk (jogging strollers welcome) (This will be a 2 or 3 mile run/walk)

* Wednesdays at 5:30PM (starts April 23rd) - Walking Wednesdays (This is a 2 or 3 mile walk - free nordic walking demos too)

* Fridays at 6PM - Happy Hour Run/Walk (This is a 3 or 4 mile run/walk around Brighton)

* Saturdays at 8AM - Carb Run/Walk (This is a 5 to 10 mile run/walk around Brighton) Runners you can go longer if you choose. The course will be provided Saturday Morning. After your workout we'll serve bagels and hot cocoa.

2.  Finish any event that Fleet Feet/YellowJacket Racing produces and earn 10 points. Exceptions are: Spring Classic Du Formula 1 distance will earn 13 points; Power Bar 9 mile trail race will earn 13 points.

3.  VOLUNTEER at any event that Fleet Feet/YellowJacket Racing produces and earn 10 points.

4. Finish Spring Events that YellowJacket Racing times and earn 3pts

Includes: Any of the races that come on our calendar during the program timeframe

5.  Finish any other Rochester area running, swimming or bicycling race (or any combination thereof) and earn 1 point.

Some Rules:

1.  No double-dipping on point-related incentive programs. If you’re participating in a program that is already awarding points toward earning incentives, you can’t participate in the Spring Samurai program until your other program is over.

2.  You may only participate in one point-earning event per day
